Change Information for a Reserved Client

You can use this procedure to change information for a reserved client.

Membership in the Domain Admins group, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure.

To change information for a reserved client

  1. Open DHCP.

  2. In the console tree, click Reservations.

  3. In the details pane, click the reserved client for which you want to change information.

  4. On the Action menu, click Properties.

  5. Modify the reservation properties you want to change, and then click OK.

Additional considerations

Reservation IP addresses cannot be modified. If you want to change the IP address of a reservation, delete the reservation, and then re-create it with the new IP address.
