Configure a Troubleshooting URL
Applies To: Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2
When you configure a troubleshooting URL, the NAP notification on a noncompliant NAP client computer will include a More Information button that can be used to direct users to a Web page that contains instructions for remediating the computer. By customizing network policies to the exact type of noncompliance that is evaluated, you can provide a unique troubleshooting URL to users with instructions that are specific to their noncompliance issue. For more information, see Network policies.
Note
The Web page that you configure in a troubleshooting URL must be accessible to noncompliant NAP client computers.
Membership in the local Administrators group, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure. Review details about using the appropriate accounts and group memberships at Local and Domain Default Groups (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=83477).
