Checklist: Deploying a personal virtual desktop
To implement Microsoft® RemoteFX™ perform the tasks for deploying Microsoft® RemoteFX™ for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (optional).

Review the hardware, software, network, and client requirements for a personal virtual desktop. |

Install the Remote Desktop Session Host (RD Session Host) role service. |

Install the Remote Desktop Virtualization Host (RD Virtualization Host) role service. |

Install the Remote Desktop Connection Broker (RD Connection Broker) role service. |

|
Install the Remote Desktop Web Access (RD Web Access) role service. |

|
Deploy the virtual machine for Remote Desktop Services. |

Add the computer account of the RD Web Access server to the TS Web Access Computers group on RD Connection Broker. |

|
Configure RD Web Access to specify the source that provides the RemoteApp programs and virtual desktops that are displayed to users. |

Configure the RD Web Access server to use an RD Connection Broker server. |

Assign a personal virtual desktop by using the Assign Personal Virtual Desktop Wizard. |
