Password Dialog Box (Explorer)
Allows you to change the password to use in logging in to a Visual SourceSafe database. If you have forgotten your assigned password, ask your database administrator to change the password for you.
Dialog Box Access
In Visual SourceSafe Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Change Password.
- New password
Specifies the new password, which can contain up to 15 characters and is not case-sensitive.
- OK
Changes the password as you have specified.
- Old password
Specifies your current password. If there is no password, you can leave this field blank.
- Verify
Allows you to retype the new password to verify it.
