Retrieve Tfvc Changesets

Note: This is a new version of the GetChangesets API that doesn't expose the unneeded queryParams present in the 1.0 version of the API.

URI Parameters

Name	In	Required	Type	Description
organization	path	True	string	The name of the Azure DevOps organization.
project	path		string	Project ID or project name
api-version	query	True	string	Version of the API to use. This should be set to '7.1' to use this version of the api.
$orderby	query		string	Results are sorted by ID in descending order by default. Use id asc to sort by ID in ascending order.
$skip	query		integer int32	Number of results to skip. Default: null
$top	query		integer int32	The maximum number of results to return. Default: null
maxCommentLength	query		integer int32	Include details about associated work items in the response. Default: null
searchCriteria.author	query		string	Alias or display name of user who made the changes.
searchCriteria.followRenames	query		boolean	Whether or not to follow renames for the given item being queried.
searchCriteria.fromDate	query		string	If provided, only include changesets created after this date (string).
searchCriteria.fromId	query		integer int32	If provided, only include changesets after this changesetID.
searchCriteria.includeLinks	query		boolean	Whether to include the _links field on the shallow references.
searchCriteria.itemPath	query		string	Path of item to search under.
searchCriteria.toDate	query		string	If provided, only include changesets created before this date (string).
searchCriteria.toId	query		integer int32	If provided, a version descriptor for the latest change list to include.

Scopes

Name	Description
vso.code	Grants the ability to read source code and metadata about commits, changesets, branches, and other version control artifacts. Also grants the ability to search code and get notified about version control events via service hooks.

Examples

GET changesets with more or less of each comment. By default 80 characters are returned.

GET list of changesets

GET the changesets a page at a time.

GET the changesets filtered by author.

GET the changesets for a range of changeset IDs.

GET the changesets for a range of dates.

GET the changesets ordering by ID ascending.

GET the changesets that contain changes to the specified item.

GET changesets with more or less of each comment. By default 80 characters are returned.
