Exercise - Create a depreciation proposal

Use the USMF company in the Contoso demo data set to create a depreciation proposal.

  1. Go to Fixed assets > Journal entries > Create depreciation proposal.

  2. In the Name of journal field, select FACur.

  3. In the To date field, enter today's date.

  4. Select USMF in Legal entities.

  5. Set the Summarize depreciate toggle to Yes.

  6. Expand the Records to include FastTab.

  7. Select BUIL-000001 in Fixed asset number.

  8. Select Create journal.

  9. Go to Fixed assets > Journal entries > Fixed assets journals.

Note

The list shows the journal entry that the system created in response to the depreciation proposal that you created.
