Exercise - Set up components

You need to create components before building a product model because the system uses them as building blocks to establish the product model structure. To set up components, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Product information management > Products > Product configuration models.

  2. Select Model on the Action Pane and then select Components.

  3. Select New.

  4. Enter a value in the Name field.

  5. Enter a value in the Description field.

  6. Select Save.
