Exercise - Set up the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability trial

In this exercise, you set up a new trial for Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability in your tenant.

Task: Obtain a Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability trial

In this task, you make a request for a Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability trial environment to be added to your tenant.

  1. With your existing or newly created credentials from the Exercise - Set up the Microsoft 365 trial unit, go to Free Trial | Microsoft Sustainability Manager.

  2. Enter your existing or newly created account in the email address box, select the agreement terms, and then select Start your free trial.

  3. Enter your phone number and then select Submit.

    A new trial instance of Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability is created for you.

By completing these steps, you created a new trial instance of Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.

Copy the URL of your Sustainability environment and note it for future exercises.

Connect to OneDrive

  1. Go to Microsoft Power Apps.

  2. Select the correct environment from the Environment dropdown menu in the upper-right corner.

  3. For the subsequent exercises, you use OneDrive. Ensure that your personal OneDrive is initialized by selecting the app selector button in the upper-left corner of the screen.

  4. Select OneDrive from the Apps list.

  5. A tab with your new OneDrive opens. Close this tab and return to Power Apps.
