PcAllocateAndMapPages rule (audio)

The PcAllocateAndMapPages rule specifies that a PortCls miniport driver calls the following interfaces, using the correct parameters:

  • IPortWaveRTStream::AllocatePagesForMdl
  • IPortWaveRTStream::AllocateContiguousPagesForMdl
  • IPortWaveRTStream::MapAllocatedPages

How to test

At run time

To verify this rule, open a Command Prompt window. Enter a Driver Verifier command and specify /domain audio.

verifier /domain audio [options] /driver <yourdriver>
