The DEVPKEY_Device_ClassGuid device property represents the GUID of the device setup class that a device instance belongs to.

Remarks
The value of DEVPKEY_Device_ClassGuid is set by the INF ClassGUID directive that is supplied by the INF Version section of the INF file that installs a device.
You can call CM_Get_DevNode_Property or SetupDiGetDeviceProperty to retrieve the value of DEVPKEY_Device_ClassGuid.
Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, and Windows 2000 support this property, but do not support the DEVPKEY_Device_ClassGuid property key. Instead, you can use the corresponding SPDRP_CLASSGUID identifier to access the value of the property on these earlier versions of Windows.
