IIdentityProvider::Create method (identityprovider.h)

The Create method creates a new identity associated with the specified user name.

Syntax

HRESULT Create(
  [in]           LPCWSTR           lpszUserName,
  [out]          IPropertyStore    **ppPropertyStore,
  [in, optional] const PROPVARIANT *pKeywordsToAdd
);

Parameters

[in] lpszUserName

The user name with which to associate the new identity.

[out] ppPropertyStore

A pointer to the IPropertyStore interface that represents the property store associated with the new identity.

[in, optional] pKeywordsToAdd

The properties to associate with the new identity.

Return value

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK.
