IUIAnimationTransitionLibrary::CreateLinearTransition method (uianimation.h)

Creates a linear transition.

Syntax

HRESULT CreateLinearTransition(
  [in]  UI_ANIMATION_SECONDS   duration,
  [in]  DOUBLE                 finalValue,
  [out] IUIAnimationTransition **transition
);

Parameters

[in] duration

The duration of the transition.

[in] finalValue

The value of the animation variable at the end of the transition.

[out] transition

The new linear transition.

Return value

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code. See Windows Animation Error Codes for a list of error codes.

Remarks

During a linear transition, the value of the animation variable transitions linearly from its initial value to a specified final value.
