CIM_AggregatePSExtent class
The CIM_AggregatePSExtent class defines the number of addressable logical blocks on a single storage device, excluding logical blocks mapped as check data. If volume sets are defined, the logical blocks are contained within a single volume set. This is an alternative grouping for CIM_ProtectedSpaceExtent, when only summary information is needed or when automatic configuration is used.
Automatic configuration can result in thousands of CIM_ProtectedSpaceExtent classes being defined. The CIM_AggregatePSExtent class was defined so that individual extents would not have to be modeled.
Important
The DMTF (Distributed Management Task Force) CIM (Common Information Model) classes are the parent classes upon which WMI classes are built. WMI currently supports only the CIM 2.x version schemas.
The following syntax is simplified from Managed Object Format (MOF) code and includes all inherited properties. Properties are listed in alphabetic order, not MOF order.
