ITAttributeList::Add method

The Add method adds the attribute at the specified index.

Syntax

HRESULT Add(
  [in] LONG Index,
  [in] BSTR pAttribute
);

Parameters

Index [in]

Index of the attribute to add.

pAttribute [in]

Pointer to a BSTR containing the value of the attribute to add.

Return value

This method can return one of these values.

Return code Description
S_OK
 Method succeeded.
E_INVALIDARG
 The Index or pAttribute parameter is not valid.
E_OUTOFMEMORY
 Insufficient memory exists to perform the operation.
E_FAIL
 Unspecified error.
E_NOTIMPL
 This method is not yet implemented.

Remarks

The application must use SysAllocString to allocate memory for the pAttribute parameter and use SysFreeString to free the memory when the variable is no longer needed.
