Anatomy of Scenario Manager page

The Scenario Manager page is where you can see how modified order lines, or orders - would impact revenue gain and loss for existing order lines.

Scenario Manager tabs

There are two tabs in Scenario Manager:

  • Scenario Changes – Use this tab to select orders and order lines to run through Scenario Manager.
  • Scenario Summary – Displays the scenario results.

Scenario Changes tab

Scenario Manager's Scenario Changes tab is comprised of the following sections:

  • Scenario Options – Displays options for changing the time frame and type of scenario.
  • Modified Order Lines – Displays the order lines that you have added to Scenario Manager.
  • New Order Lines – Displays the projected forecast for the order lines that you run through Scenario Manager.

Scenario Summary tab

Scenario Manager's Scenario Summary tab is comprised of the following sections:

  • Scenario Options – Displays options for changing the timeframe and type of scenario. These are carried over from the Scenario Changes tab.

    Note

    Editing the options in the Scenario Options section doesn't change the results. You must make changes on the Scenario Changes tab and then re-run the scenario.

  • Scenario Summary Indicators – Displays an overview of potential gains and losses, the number of impacted orders, order lines, and products.

  • Gains – Displays all of the order lines that would gain revenue in the projection.

  • Losses – Displays all of the order lines that would lose revenue in the projection.
