    With regards to the Shared Content Store being set back to 0, that can potentially create ripple effects as I laid out here:http://blogs.technet.com/b/gladiatormsft/archive/2014/06/14/app-v-5-be-careful-toggling-shared-content-store.aspx
    Now, on to the patching requiring a reboot: You have kernelfilter drivers in use. In order for those to be refreshed in memory it requires a reboot. This is not limited to just App-V.

    I have had major issues with this latest update, none of my appv 5 applications just hang after installing this update, has anyone had any issues?

    We also have major issue after installing this hotfix.Shared content store mode not working and all applications are streaming locally..(shared content mode also enabled)..anyone facing same issue?
