Installer version 2.33.89.23145 - Microsoft Store version 10.0.6790.0 updates

New Features

  • Two new actions dedicated to work queuesProcess work queue items and Update work queue item – are now available in Power Automate for desktop in preview, allowing users to directly integrate the processing of work queue items in their desktop flows.
Note: these actions are not available for sovereign clouds yet.

  • OneDrive for Business is the latest connector that comes down to Power Automate for desktop, with multiple operations now being available out of the box as native actions for desktop flows.

Enhancements & Improvements

  • Signing out from the console is now not allowed when the machine runtime app is open, and vice versa, to ensure that the user is properly signed out or signed in in all Power Automate components.

  • The current support of proxy settings in Power Automate for desktop is now extended, to also include Windows credentials authentication and bypassing a set of addresses through registry configuration.

  • Disabling or enabling blocks of actions is now available in the flow designer, even when those blocks include Comment or Region actions.

  • The larger minimum width of the actions pane that was introduced in the previous version has been revoked, so that users can still build flows in smaller screen resolutions.

  • A link to see more actions in the Assets library is now available at the bottom of the actions pane.

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues in Power Automate for desktop that are now resolved:

  • After searching for a keyword in the flow designer, the results tab now remains in place after collapsing the results pane, even if there were zero matches, until the keyword is removed from the search field.

  • After renaming a subflow, the subflow filters in the errors list are now properly updated.

  • Side panels in the console or the flow designer, like the variables pane, UI elements repository and images repository, are now properly shown when the UI reloads, after switching to high contrast mode or connecting to a remote desktop.

  • Subflow names including special characters are now properly displayed in the summary of the ‘Run subflow’ action.

  • The Assets library can now properly display more than 5k custom actions.

  • An issue with multiple warnings being displayed for subflow recursion in the designer has now been resolved.

  • Clicking on the whitespace of the custom form designer now brings focus as expected, for the corresponding keyboard shortcuts to work properly.

  • The drag and drop mechanism in the various dialogs of the flow designer, like the custom form designer with its elements and the actions’ error handling screen with its rules, now works as expected.

  • More graceful errors will be thrown from now on, when a user opens a flow including connectors or operations that are not available in an older version.

  • The ‘Sort list’ action now works properly for lists of connector objects as well.

  • An issue with the action ‘Open secure FTP connection’ not respecting the user’s input for the timeout field has now been resolved.

  • When opening a flow, the potential exception about failing to initialize the module loader is now captured properly, providing the corresponding remediation steps as well.

  • While using the recorder, the web week picker field can now also accept a lowercase ‘w’ for the week prefix.

  • The ‘block input’ action now works as expected for Mouse & keyboard actions, as well as web and desktop automation actions using physical clicks and keystrokes, so long as Power Automate runs with elevated rights.

  • Testing selectors in the respective screen now does not reset the maximized state of the flow designer window.

  • The action ‘Extract data from web page’ now fails as expected instead of hanging, when the timeout value that has been set is reached.

  • Repairing a selector now does not add an increment to its name.

  • Extracting an entire HTML table during recording now does not override previous extraction actions with the same parameters.
