In addition to desktop automation, web automation is now also supported in RDP and Citrix sessions, allowing for more robust flows in remote machine scenarios. This functionality is available for both web recording and manual authoring.
A new action is now available for data extraction in desktop automation, called Extract data from table, to enable the proper extraction of tables and data grids from target applications.
Two new actions have now been added for work queue processing, Add multiple work queue items and Get work queue items by filter. Furthermore, variables of work queue item type now support more properties out of the box.
Enhancements & Improvements
The dynamic invocation of subflows through variables during runtime, is now also available in ‘Run subflow’ rules, both in the action ‘On block error’ and in the error handling of individual actions.
When a desktop flow belongs to a managed solution in schema v2 or a solution with disabled customizations in schema v1, it can now be opened to allow debugging but can’t be saved, renamed or have its properties changed.
The console startup time has been improved, as update checks are now being performed in parallel with the other network calls.
In Power Fx flows, list and custom object variable types have now been extended to include the Power Fx record type.
The error messaging has been improved in Record with Copilot, when potentially harmful or sensitive content is detected during the analysis of this recording.
A link to provide feedback is now included in a comment action, generated as part of the produced flow after using Record with Copilot.
