This structure partially describes a media type used by a DirectX DMO. The DMO registration functions use this structure to specify supported media types.

Syntax

  GUID type;
  GUID subtype;
} DMO_PARTIAL_MEDIATYPE, *PDMO_PARTIAL_MEDIATYPE;

Members

• type
  A GUID identifying the stream's major media type. This must be one of the DMO Media Types. Use GUID_NULL to match any major type.

• subtype
  Subtype GUID. Use GUID_NULL to match any subtype.
