This function removes a usage identifier OID from the certificate's extended key usage (EKU) property.

Syntax

BOOL WINAPI CertRemoveEnhancedKeyUsageIdentifier(
  PCCERT_CONTEXT pCertContext,
  LPCSTR pszUsageIdentifier
);

Parameters

  • pCertContext
    [in] Pointer to a CERT_CONTEXT structure of the certificate for which the usage identifier OID is to be removed.
  • pszUsageIdentifier
    [in] Pointer to the usage identifier OID to remove.

Return Value

If the function succeeds, the return value is nonzero, or TRUE.

If the function fails, the return value is zero, or FALSE.

For extended error information, call the GetLastError function.
