This function returns a pointer to a credential structure that is specified by the target string. This function is deprecated. Use the CredRead function instead.

Syntax

CeCredRead( 
  PCWSTR pszTarget,
  DWORD dwCredType,
  DWORD dwFlags,
  PCREDENTIAL pCred 
);

Parameters

  • pszTarget
    [in] Reserved. Should be NULL.

  • dwCredType
    [in] One of the following credential types:

    • CRED_TYPE_GENERIC
    • CRED_TYPE_DOMAIN_PASSWORD
    • CRED_TYPE_DOMAIN_CERTIFICATE
    • CRED_TYPE_DOMAIN_VISIBLE_PASSWORD
  • dwFlags
    [in] Reserved. Should be NULL.
  • pCred
    [out] Pointer to the CREDENTIAL structure.

None.
