This message sets extended styles in list-view controls.
Syntax
LVM_SETEXTENDEDLISTVIEWSTYLE
wParam = (WPARAM)dwExMask;
lParam = (LPARAM)dwExStyle;
Parameters
- dwExMask
Specifies which styles in dwExStyle are to be affected. Only the extended styles in dwExMask will be changed. All other styles will be maintained as is. If this parameter is zero, then all of the styles in dwExStyle will be affected.
dwExStyle
Specifies the extended list-view control style. This parameter can be a combination of extended styles.The dwExMask parameter allows you to modify one or more extended styles without having to retrieve the existing styles first. For example, if you pass LVS_EX_FULLROWSELECT for dwExMask and 0 for dwExStyle, the LVS_EX_FULLROWSELECT style will be cleared, but all other styles will remain the same.
Return Value
Returns a DWORD value that contains the previous extended list-view control styles
Remarks
For backward compatibility reasons, the ListView_SetExtendedListViewStyle macro has not been updated to use dwExMask.
