This code sample is named PocketOutlookSample. It demonstrates how to write a Personal Information Manager (PIM)/Messaging application that uses API members from the Microsoft.WindowsMobile.PocketOutlook namespace, along with API members from the Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Telephony namespace. The application binds a ContactCollection to a List Box, binds a Contact property to a Text Box, edits Contact properties, sends a Short Messaging Service (SMS) text message, and calls a Contact's phone number.

Usage

To run the code sample

  1. Navigate to the solution file (*.sln), and double-click it. By default, the solution file is copied to the following folder:

    C:\Program Files\Windows Mobile 6 SDK\Samples\PocketPC\CS\PocketOutlookSample

    Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 launches and loads the solution.

  2. Build the solution (Ctrl+Shift+B).

  3. Deploy the solution (F5).

Remarks

It is assumed that the device or emulator you are using has telephony capabilities.
