NM_TITLE

This notification message is sent by the HTML viewer control to notify the application and provide the title of the HTML document.

Syntax

NM_TITLE
NM_HTMLVIEW * pnmHTMLView = (NM_HTMLVIEW *)lParam;
szTitle = pnmHTMLView->szTarget;

Parameters

  • pnmHTMLView
    Points to an NM_HTMLVIEW structure that contains information about the NM_TITLE notification message.
  • szTitle
    A null-terminated string that contains the title of the HTML document.

Return Value

If the application handles this message it should return a non-zero result. Passing a zero result to the HTML control will result in the default control handling to occur.

Remarks

The HTML control does not send the NM_TITLE message if the TITLE tag is missing from the HTML document.
