IWebBrowser2::PutProperty

The PutProperty method sets the value of a property associated with an object.

Syntax

HRESULT PutProperty(
  BSTR szProperty,
  VARIANT vtValue
);

Parameters

  • szProperty
    [in] Variable of type BSTR that specifies the name of the property.
  • vtValue
    [in] VARIANT of type VT_BSTR that specifies the new value of the property.

Return Value

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

  • S_OK
    The method completed successfully.

DISPID

DISPID_WEBBROWSER_PUTPROPERTY

The DISPID is defined in piedocvw.h. Use this value to identify the event handler when implementing IDispatch::Invoke.
