EditStreamCallback

The EditStreamCallback function is an application-defined callback function used with the EM_STREAMIN and EM_STREAMOUT messages. It is used to transfer a stream of data to or from a RichInk control.

Syntax

DWORD CALLBACK EditStreamCallback(
  DWORD dwCookie,
  LPBYTE pbBuff,
  LONG cb,
  LONG* pcb 
);

Parameters

  • dwCookie
    An application-defined value.
  • pbBuff
    A pointer to a buffer.
  • cb
    The number of bytes to read or write.
  • pcb
    A pointer to the number of bytes transferred.

Return Value

None.

Remarks

The EDITSTREAMCALLBACK type defines a pointer to this callback function. EditStreamCallback is a placeholder for the application-defined function name.
