Adding Attributes to Licenses
You can add attributes to a license just as you do to content headers to provide additional information. This information can be used in the future for other features. For example, currently applications do not provide a way for consumers to view the conditions and attributes in a license; however, this feature might be available in the future, so adding attributes now would ensure that this information would be available at that time.
It is highly recommended that, at a minimum, you add the following attributes to each license by using the Attribute property of the WMRMLicGen object:

| Author | Author or artist name |
| ContentDistributor | Content distributor |
| ContentType | Content type (such as music or video) |
| Copyright | Copyright |
| Description | Description |
| LGPUBKEY | License revocation public key |
| LicenseDistributor | License distributor or issuer |
| LicenseDistributorURL | License distributor URL |
| Rating | Rating |
| Title | Title |
| UID | User ID |
