4/8/2010
The SoftwareDisable Configuration Service Provider enables secure disabling of binary files on a device by using Group Policy management. It also makes possible secure authorization of binary files that are not otherwise authorized to run.
The following examples can be used as templates to configure settings for the SoftwareDisable Configuration Service Provider:
- Query SoftwareDisable Example for OMA Client Provisioning
- Change the Block List Example for OMA Client Provisioning
- Change the Allow List Example for OMA Client Provisioning
- Change Notification Dialog Example for OMA Client Provisioning
To use these examples, you must replace the values below the SoftwareDisable characteristic type with values that correspond to your system, and add the node as a child of the wap-provisioningdoc node in an OMA Client Provisioning file. Some parameters may not be shown in the examples. For more information about the syntax of a provisioning file, see OMA Client Provisioning Files.
