Developing Commerce Server Applications with Visual Studio
For the latest version of Commerce Server 2007 Help, see the Microsoft Web site.
You use the Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio 2008 development system to create .NET-based Commerce Server applications that use the Microsoft .NET Framework. Commerce Server provides tight integration with Microsoft Visual Studio, and enables you to access important Commerce Server tools from the Visual Studio development environment.
The documentation for the Commerce Server Starter Site includes a tutorial about how to customize the Starter Site in the Visual Studio environment. To download the Commerce Server Starter Site that includes its own stand-alone documentation, see https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=8291.
You can also create Commerce Web applications in a team development environment. For more information about how to create Commerce Server applications in a team development environment, see Establishing an Environment for Multiple Developers and https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=677.
