How to Install the Data Warehouse Reports

This topic provides steps for installing the Data Warehouse reports.

To install the Data Warehouse reports

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to MicrosoftCommerce Server 2009 , point to Tools, and then click Commerce Server Tools Command Prompt.

  2. Type ReportInstaller.exe, and then press ENTER.

  3. In the Commerce Server Report Installer dialog box, in the Top Level Folder on Reporting Server box, type a name for the reports folder.

    You must set an explicit file folder as the source of the reports, for example, the folder where the .RDL files reside.

  4. Select Re-brand Reporting Server as Commerce Server Analytics.

  5. In the Reporting Server box, type http://<Data Warehouse server name>/ReportServer, and then click Test Connection.

  6. In the dialog box that informs you that the reporting server is valid, click OK.

  7. In the Commerce Server Report Installer dialog box, click Install Reports.

    Commerce Server Report Installer installs the reports.

  8. In the dialog box that asks whether you want to see the log file, click OK.

  9. Start Internet Explorer, and then open http://<Data Warehouse server name>/reports/home.aspx.

  10. On the Commerce Server Report Manager page, click Home.

  11. On the Home page, click Commerce Server Analytics.

    Report Manager displays the reports folder that you created.
