How to Add a Category Definition
This topic describes how to add a catalog category definition. You define properties, such as name, description, and image in the category definition. After you create a category definition, you can create categories based on that category definition.
Note
The Catalog and Inventory Manager does not run concurrency checking. Therefore, if two users are working in the Catalog and Inventory Manager on two different computers, and the users both add new properties to the same catalog definition, only the new properties of the user who saved the properties last will be saved to the system. The properties added by the first user are discarded.
