How to Rename a Product Definition

This topic describes how to rename a product definition. After you create a product definition, you may want to change the name to make it more descriptive.

To rename a product definition

1. Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Catalog and Inventory Schema Manager.

2. In Commerce Server Catalog and Inventory Schema Manager, in the Views pane, click Product Definitions.

3. In the Product Definitions section, select the product definition you want to rename, and then in the Task pane, click Rename Definition.

4. In the Rename Definition dialog box, in the Enter a new name box, type the new name for the product definition, and then click OK.
