IDvbServiceDescriptor::GetServiceName
This topic applies to Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and later.
The GetServiceName method returns the raw service name.
Syntax
HRESULT GetServiceName( char** pszName );
Parameters
pszName
[out] Receives a pointer to a null-terminated string that contains the service name. The caller must free the returned string by calling CoTaskMemFree.
Return Values
The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

S_OK | The method succeeded. |
Remarks
This method does not process the service name field, so the returned string is in the original byte order, with all of the control codes. To get the service name in readable form, call IDvbServiceDescriptor::GetProcessedServiceName. For more information about character encoding in DVB Service Information (SI) descriptors, refer to ETSI 300 468, Appendix A.
