IMSVidVMR9::get_Allocator

This topic applies to Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.

The get_Allocator method retrieves the application's custom allocator-presenter.

Syntax

  HRESULT get_Allocator(
  IUnknown**  AllocPresent
);

Parameters

AllocPresent

[out]  Receives a pointer to the IUnknown interface of the allocator-presenter. The caller must release the interface.

Return Values

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Return code Description
S_OK The method succeeded.
E_FAIL The application did not set a custom allocator-presenter.

Remarks

To set a custom allocator-presenter, call IMSVidVMR9::SetAllocator.
