MSVidWebDVD.PlayChapter Method

This topic applies to Windows XP Service Pack 1 or later.

The PlayChapter method starts playback at the specified chapter in the current title.

Syntax

  VidWebDVD
  .PlayChapter(
  lChapter As Long
)

Parameters

lChapter

Long specifying the chapter.

Return Values

This method does not return a value.

Error Codes

If the property fails, Err.Number may be set to one of the following values.

Value Description
E_UNEXPECTED Unspecified error.
E_INVALIDARG Invalid chapter.
VFW_E_DVD_OPERATION_INHIBITED UOP control prohibits the operation.
VFW_E_DVD_INVALIDDOMAIN Invalid domain for this operation.

Remarks

When the end of the specified chapter is reached, this method continues playing subsequent chapters, if any exist. If you want to play only a specified chapter, use PlayChaptersAutoStop.
