Remarques

Of the metadata objects, only ApplicationRegistry, LobSystem, Entity, Method, and MethodInstance have their own unique individually settable access control list (ACL). The other metadata objects use the ACLs from their closest individually securable parents.

For example, Parameter is a child of Method. Method is an individually securable object, so a user can set the ACL on the Method. Parameter is access controlled, but not individually securable, so it needs an ACL, and it will borrow or use the ACL of the nearest parent that is individually securable; in this case, this is the Method.
