L'exemple de code suivant vous montre comment accéder à l'ensemble complet de services .NET Framework afin de pouvoir intégrer vos composants et contrôles dans l'environnement de design.

Cet exemple de code montre comment accéder aux services dans votre concepteur personnalisé. Une classe de concepteur appelée DemoControlDesigner est attachée à une classe DemoControl et exécute les opérations suivantes :
crée un composant Timer à l'aide de la méthode CreateComponent ;
utilise la méthode ShowCode pour démarrer l'éditeur de code et afficher un gestionnaire d'événements qui est créé en même temps que le composant Timer ;
utilise la méthode DestroyComponent pour supprimer un composant Timer de l'environnement de design ;
utilise GetExtenderProviders pour énumérer tous les fournisseurs d'extendeurs et les afficher dans MessageBox ;
utilise la méthode GetReferences pour énumérer toutes les instances de DemoControl sur l'aire de conception ;
utilise la méthode GetPathOfAssembly pour afficher le chemin d'accès de l'assembly en cours d'exécution ;
