Remarks
When you raise an event, the event handler is invoked through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnDocumentClosed method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This technique is recommended for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When you override OnDocumentClosed in a derived class, make sure to call the base class’s OnDocumentClosed method so that registered delegates receive the event.
