Remarks

A data view is a hierarchical layout of data source objects that are displayed in the Visual Studio Server Explorer window. Implementing this class allows such a hierarchy to be displayed to represent the hierarchical relationships of data source objects from virtually any data source.

The XML stream, which describes the data view, is provided in an XML file that validates against the schema definition file VSDataViewSupport.xsd.
