IVsExtensionManager.GetEnabledExtensions Method (String)

Queries for all enabled extensions that contain a particular content type, for example, ItemTemplates or MEFComponents.

contentTypeName
Type: System.StringThe content type to filter the search by.
Return Value
Type: System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<IInstalledExtension>
A collection of IExtension objects that contain the metadata of all enabled extensions that contain the requested content type.
Remarks
Although this API supports the Extension Manager infrastructure, we recommend that you do not use it because it is subject to change.
The valid values for contentTypeName correspond to the children of the Content element.
