Replaces text from the specified span with the specified text.

Parameters

• replaceSpan
  Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Text.Span

  The span of text to be replaced.

• text
  Type: String

  The new text.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
true if the edit succeeded, otherwise false.
