TfsConfigurationServerFactory.GetConfigurationServer Method (Uri)

Gets the TfsConfigurationServer instance that is associated with the server at the specified URI.

Parameters

• uri
  Type: System.Uri

  The URI of the server that is running Team Foundation Server.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Client.TfsConfigurationServer
The TfsConfigurationServer instance that is associated with the server at the specified URI.

Remarks

If a TfsConfigurationServer object that has the specified URI exists in the cache, it is returned. If not, a new TfsConfigurationServer instance is created with a credentials provider, if any, that is appropriate for the environment. The created TfsConfigurationServer object is placed in the cache and associated with the URI that is resolved for the name.
