Executes the SQL command via ExecuteScalar() and returns the result.

Parameters

• commandType
  Type: System.Data.CommandType

  Command type. Only Text and StoredProcedure are supported.

• sqlStatement
  Type: System.String

  SQL statement to execute.

• parameters
  Type: System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<SqlParameter>

  SQL parameters. May be null. Only Input and Output parameters are supported.

Return Value

Type: System.Object
The Scalar.
