IPMCPU::DefaultValue (Windows CE 5.0)

This method obtains or sets the default value for the CPU.

To obtain the default value of the CPU use the following syntax.

HRESULT DefaultValue(BSTR* pbstrName);

To set the default value of the CPU use the following syntax.

HRESULT DefaultValue(BSTR bstrName);

Parameters

  • pbstrName
    [out] Pointer to the default value of the CPU.
  • bstrName
    [in] Default value of the CPU.

Return Values

Returns S_OK if the call was successfully completed. If a failure occurs, the appropriate HRESULT value is returned.

Remarks

You can call this method to specify in the registry key for the CPU the value of the default entry. If you do not specify a value, Platform Manager uses the Name entry in the registry key for the CPU as the default value.

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.0 and later.
Header: Cpu.h, Cemgr.idl.
