Step 3: Deploying the DUA Run-Time Image
5/10/2007
In this step you will copy the DUA update files to your run-time image, and then deploy your run-time image to your device.
To deploy the DUA run-time image
Copy the DUA_Polling directory to the root directory of your run-time image, for example, C:\Windows Embedded images/\DUA_polling.
Copy the contents of the Windows Embedded Images directory to your deployment hard drive.
Reboot your system, by booting to the XP Embedded deployment partition. Boot Windows XP Embedded and allow FBA to complete.
After FBA reboots, log on to the system.
When you log on to the system, the DUA service runs. Wait at least 30 seconds for the HelloWorld executable to run. You have successfully used DUA to update your run-time image.
