This macro is a helper function that uses a bit mask to write a byte to a specified address.

Syntax

#define MASKPORT8(x, y, z)

Parameters

• x
  Specifies the port address to which the new byte will be written. On x86-based hardware platforms, the I/O address space is used.

• y
  Bits to be cleared from the port address.

• z
  Specifies the new bits to be set.
