Debug Zones Dialog Box (Compact 2013)

In this dialog box, you can view, add, or remove settings on process and module debug zones. To display this dialog box, go to Target > CE Debug Zones.

This dialog box includes the following items.

  • Name
    Displays all modules and processes that are running on the target device.

    In the Name list box, select a DLL or EXE file name to view or to change the debug zones for that module.

  • Debug Zones
    Displays the debug zones that are associated with the module that is currently selected in the Name list box.

    Use the Debug Zones list box to do the following:

    • When the device is running, select the check box for a debug zone that you want to enable.
    • When the device is running, clear the check box for a debug zone that you want to disable.

    Click Apply or OK to immediately enable zones that are selected and disable zones that are not selected.

    When device is not running, or at a debug break, debug zones cannot be viewed or changed.

  • Refresh List
    Click Refresh List to update the file names in the Name list box.
  • Refresh Zones
    Click Refresh Zones to update the zones in the Debug Zones list box with their current state.
  • OK
    Click OK to immediately enable zones that are selected and disable zones that are not selected and close the dialog box saving all changes.
  • Cancel
    Click Cancel to close the dialog box without saving changes.
  • Apply
    Click Apply to immediately enable selected zones and disable zones that are not selected and save all changes.
