IeXdi2HelperGeneric::InitAndLockHelper (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This method initializes the connection links necessary to insert the helper in a chain of helpers.

Syntax

Parameters

  • pieXdi2ExecDownLink
    [in] Pointer to the IeXdi2Exec object interface that the helper must pass downward calls to.
  • pieXdi2MemDownLink
    [in] Pointer to the IeXdi2Mem object interface that the helper must pass downward calls to.
  • pieXdiClientNotifMemChg2UpLink
    [in] Pointer to the IeXdi2ClientNotifyMemChg object interface that the helper must pass upward calls to.
  • pieXdiClientNotifRunChg2UpLink
    [in] Pointer to the IeXdi2ClientNotifyRunChg object interface that the helper must pass upward calls to.
  • measInfo
    [in] Miscellaneous information about the eXDI service.

    This provides indirect access to all other components of the service.

Return Value

The following table shows return values for this method.

Value Description

S_OK

Indicates the function was successful.

E_FAIL

Indicates an unspecified failure.
