Starting Kernel Tracker in File Mode (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

You can start Kernel Tracker in file mode.

To start Remote Kernel Tracker in file mode

  1. From the Target menu, choose Remote Tools, and then choose Kernel Tracker.

  2. In the Kernel Tracker window, from the File menu, choose Open.

  3. Select a .clg file to open.

    - or -

    In the File name box, type the name of a .clg file to open.

  4. Choose Open.

Note   There is a sample .clg file installed at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows CE Tools\Platman\sdk\wce###\samples\KTLogFiles\sample.clg. For Windows Embedded CE 6.0, the wce### is "wce600". You can open this log file in Kernel Tracker and see interesting thread behaviors.
