System Information (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

The System Information remote tool displays system settings and properties for a target device. System Information displays this information only for OS designs created with Platform Builder.
The user interface (UI) for the System Information is similar to the Windows Explorer UI. The left pane of the System Information UI displays folders in a nested, hierarchical view. For a selected folder in the left pane, the right pane displays the system items that are associated with that folder.
System Information displays general system information for a target device, including the name of the OS, the name and model of the CPU, and other information. System Information also displays information about the target device's UI, system memory, system power, and so on.
To use System Information from Windows Embedded CE, you must first connect to the target device with Platform Manager. For more information about how to connect a remote tool to a target device with Platform Manager, see Remote Tool Connectivity.
